Guide: How to edit video

The following is a step by step guide which shows how to crop video, trim file, adjust effect, append watermark and add subtitles.

Crop Video

Select a file in file list and click edit to open Edit window. Click Crop Tab to crop video. You are allowed to crop videos by the following three methods:

  • Select aspect ratio from the Zoom drop-down list.
  • Drag the cropping frame in preview window.
  • Input values in Left, Top, Cropped area size text boxes.

Customize Effect

In Edit window, click Effect Tab to adjust video effects.

  • Drag the sliders to adjust Brightness, Contrast, Saturation.
  • Select a special effect from the Effect drop-down list for the video.
  • Flipping effect: Click to horizontally reverse the picture, and to vertically reverse the picture.

Trim File

In Edit window, click Trim Tab to trim file. Drag the sliders or input values to set Start Time and End Time.

Edit Watermark

You can create an image watermark or text watermark, and the Transparency, Position, Font are all adjustable.

Add Subtitles

You can add .srt subtitle for MKV format files with the adding subtitle functions.
